A timeline of titles in my chosen genre

Act of Violence film opening (1949)
The Act of Violence film opening would be a good opening to analyse, i feel that if i looked closer and in a more in depth scale on this opening, i feel like it would give me insight as to how the scenes were set up in such a way to portray the certain moods, to get the required reaction from the audience. The element of mystery is added to this film opening when we see the man pull out a gun, and the audience wonders why the person is in need of it, and where he is going in the scene straight after.
Raw Deal film opening (1948)
This was an opening sequence that mainly portrayed names, without any scenery behind it, which contrasts that style of the film opening "Act of Violence". looking at both of these styles is good because we can see what can be compared and contrasted in terms of efficiency of credits, style, and how it's presented. Personally, i do not like the way that this film opening is done because it is just text, although this style was common back then, i doubt it would be good enough for nowadays, as it doesn't draw the audience in to the films story.

Conclusion:
Analysing these film openings, especially ones like in Act of Violence (1949) will definitely help me and my group when it comes to structuring how we want our film opening to look like, particularly if we do not want ours to not represent the Noir genre, as well as take inspiration from so we dont stray to far from our original plan.
