Our Production company

As a group, we decided that we would be an mainstream film company, even though our film story line may appeal more to a specific group of people, unlike usual mainstream media, that would appeal to a large viewing audience. or film is going to be based around the genre of Film Noir, which is a genre which would mainly appeal to only a specific group of people, unlike Action or Adventure movies, which have a much larger viewing audience. As our film is independently based, and we decided not to portray most of the specific characteristics seen in most mainstream films. Trying to be a mainstream company will be hard as it would require a lot of money (and/or effort and material) to meet the standards that are usually seen in mainstream films, without making it look bad in top of that.

Defining our production company stance will help us define what will appeal to the specific audience we're aiming towards. For example what i just wrote there is an example of why this should be established as soon as possible, rather than half way in to the
project, as now we can instantly define what audience our film will be watched by, as well as our target market for our Film Noir (independent).
